Supportive Services for Veteran Families provides housing stability for Veterans and their families in Ventura and Santa Barbara County!
We offer substantial support and planning for long term housing stability, in the form of employment coaching, advocacy, financial and budgeting resources, housing follow ups, and temporary financial assistance.
A few of our eligibility requirements are that the Veteran have a DD214 with any status other than dishonorable, and that the household income does not exceed the 50% Area Median Income limits.
You may qualify if you are?
· At risk of losing your housing (in rental arrears and received 3 day notice/eviction)
· Homeless, OR living in an otherwise uninhabitable situation, OR staying in motel, couch surfing, etc.
· Need assistance with housing stability and cannot afford deposit or move in costs.
